My World Doodles clip art and FREEBIE Globe!

Yesterday I promised myself I woudn't started doodling...but I broke that promise and I DID!  I have so many ideas going through my head, and it didn't help that I made a list on Saturday of everything I want to draw.  I have completely neglected my house.  I've been planning to mop the floor all weekend, but that has gotten pushed to the back of my "To Do" list.  I WILL get to that today!  Today is the last day of our Easter/Spring break...so its gotta get done!

In the last few weeks, Christine and I have been busy making and revamping some of our stuff from our Continents unit.  We had to search for clip art to make a lot of the things we used in our classroom.  We just weren't finding any thing "cute" or just what we wanted.  I've never really found anyone that makes a "continents" themed clip art pack, so I decided to try and draw my own world/continents images...and this is what I came up with:

Ocean Doodles Clip Art with FREEBIE

I have been working on some ocean clip art over the past few weeks and finally finished it today.  Images included: 2 different dolphins, 2 different sharks, 3 different whales, walrus, seal, sea turtle, crab, starfish, octopus, stingray, sea "annie", jellyfish, 6 different fish, sea horse, sand dollar, 2 different sea plants, mermaid, merman, 2 different shells, waves/water.

Farm Doodles Clip Art with FREEBIE

This weekend I have been updating and making some items for our Farm unit.  I know many teachers who do a farm unit in the spring...ours is done in the fall.  Yesterday I blogged about a Farm Safety pocket chart song that Christine and I wrote.  Again, I needed a combine and a wagon and I just didn't have that in any of the clip art that we've purchased.  So I got to drawing my own Farm collection.  My own two childrem thought my combine and tractor were pretty cool...but we live on a farm and they are pretty interested in John Deere equipment.

I just uploaded my Farm Doodles clip art packages to our TPT store.  All images are saved in PNG files so they are great for layering.

Easter Mini-Book: "Looking for a Treat"

Today I realized we only have two things lined up for Easter fun in our class tomorrow...our Little Bunny pocket chart poem and a Mystery Bunny picture on the number grid we found on Little Country Kindergarten blog.  You just gotta have a mini-book!  So I whipped up a cute little rhyming mini-book using the graphics from my Springtime Doodles collection about the Easter Bunny looking for a treat:

One little bunny went hopping down the street.
He went looking for a place to have a treat.
Then he looked down right by a big tree.
And when he sat down...what did he see?
A big fat carrot so juicy and sweet!
It was all he ever really wanted to eat!
